I ordered a few prints from the wonderful Sim Labs – simlabs.co.uk. I ordered 20cm x 30xm prints on handmade photo rag. The way the paper holds both the detail and the blacks is beautiful and they did turn out really well. However I realised afterwards I pressed ‘inches’ instead of ‘cm’ and now have very large prints with no walls to hang them on. Duh!
Saigon Fine Dining (above). Myself and Pete went out for a wander round the town and stopped for dinner at this food market down by the main bus station. We had an amazing noodle soup.
Looking down from above on Taormina beach in Sicily (above). Most tourists stay in the main town on the cliff above and reach the beach by funicular cable car. We stayed in Giardini Naxos below – lots more fun.
The Island of the Dolls just outside Mexico city is one of the creepiest places I have ever visited. We had to argue with the boatmen to bring us out. They usually bring tourists on a tour of the flower gardens. We hired the entire boat and don’t regret it at all.
Hiking up towards Neue Schwanstein Castle in Munich we stopped but this very pretty waterfall.
And back home again (above) the mouth of the Boyne River at Mornington.
